NewLine Privacy Policy

How NewLine collects, uses, shares and protects personal data of its Users.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how NewLine (the "Operator", "we", "us" or "our") processes the personal data of Users of the NewLine platform — the website, the Android and iOS mobile applications and the Windows desktop application. It applies to anyone who registers an Account, visits the public website, downloads the apps or otherwise interacts with our services.

The Operator is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. By using the platform you confirm that you have read this Privacy Policy and the Terms & Conditions, and that you understand how your data is collected, used and shared as described below.

Where this policy uses terms not defined here (for example "Account", "Real Funds", "KYC"), those terms have the meaning given in the Terms & Conditions.

2. Changes to This Policy

The Operator may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the platform, in applicable law, or in our data-processing practices. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page indicates when the policy was last revised.

Material changes are communicated through the website, by email to your registered address, or through in-product notifications. Continued use of the platform after a change indicates your acknowledgement of the updated policy. If you do not agree with a change, you may stop using the platform and request closure of your Account through the procedures in the Terms & Conditions.

5. How We Use Your Data

In practice, your data is used in the following ways:

  • Account access. To authenticate your login and protect against unauthorised access. Because the Operator does not currently offer two-factor authentication, this relies on your password and on technical signals such as IP address and device fingerprint.
  • Cashier operations. To process deposits, withdrawals and refunds, and to confirm that the payment method is held in your name in compliance with AML rules.
  • Game settlement. To record bets and outcomes, calculate winnings, credit bonuses and free spins, and update your NewLine Points balance.
  • Compliance. To run KYC verification, sanctions screening, monitoring for unusual transaction patterns and reporting to competent authorities where required by law.
  • Communications. To send transactional messages (verification emails, password resets, withdrawal confirmations, security alerts) and, with your consent, marketing messages about bonuses, tournaments and new features.
  • Support. To investigate and respond to your complaints, technical issues and questions through live chat or email.
  • Improvement. To analyse aggregate usage patterns, run A/B tests and improve the platform's reliability, design and game library.

6. Data Retention

The Operator retains personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy and as required by applicable law. The main retention periods are summarised below.

Data CategoryTypical Retention Period
Active Account data For the lifetime of the Account, plus the period required to settle outstanding obligations.
KYC and identity documents For the lifetime of the Account and for a further period after closure required by AML legislation (commonly several years).
Transaction and bet history For the lifetime of the Account and for the post-closure retention period required by law and audit standards.
Live chat transcripts and support emails Up to several years after the most recent interaction, for quality control and dispute resolution.
Marketing preference data Until you withdraw consent or close the Account.
Cookies and analytics From the duration of a single session up to a maximum of several months, depending on cookie type.

After the applicable retention period, personal data is either deleted or anonymised so that it can no longer be linked to you.

7. Data Sharing with Third Parties

The Operator does not sell your personal data. We share data only with the categories of recipients described below, and only to the extent necessary for the relevant purpose.

Legal advisors, auditors and competent authorities Where required for legal compliance, audit, or in response to a lawful request.

All third parties acting on our behalf are bound by contractual obligations to process personal data only for the agreed purpose, to maintain confidentiality and to apply appropriate security measures.

8. International Data Transfers

Personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including in jurisdictions whose data-protection rules differ from your own. Where such a transfer takes place, the Operator applies appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law — for example, standard contractual clauses with the recipient, or reliance on adequacy decisions by competent authorities.

You can request more information on the safeguards in place for any specific cross-border transfer by writing to support@newline.bet.

9. Security Measures

The Operator implements technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. These measures include, among others:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS) and of sensitive data at rest.
  • Storage of passwords as salted hashes — never in plaintext.
  • Access controls and the principle of least privilege for staff and third-party providers.
  • Logging and monitoring for suspicious access patterns and potential security incidents.
  • Regular security testing and patching of platform components.
  • Internal data-protection training for staff who handle personal data.

Despite these measures, no system is completely immune from risk. The Operator does not currently offer two-factor authentication, biometric login or hardware-key support on the User-facing side, which means your password and the security of your registered email account are essential lines of defence. Use a long, unique password, enable strong protection on your email account and never share credentials with anyone — including with people who claim to represent NewLine. Our staff will never ask for your password.

10. Your Rights

Depending on the laws applicable to you, you may have the following rights in relation to the personal data the Operator holds about you:

  • Right of access. The right to obtain confirmation of whether we process your personal data and, if so, a copy of that data.
  • Right to rectification. The right to ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Right to erasure. The right to request deletion of personal data in certain circumstances, subject to retention obligations under AML and other laws.
  • Right to restrict processing. The right to ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to data portability. The right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and to transmit it to another controller, where technically feasible.
  • Right to object. The right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests and to processing for direct marketing purposes.
  • Right to withdraw consent. Where processing is based on your consent (for example, marketing communications), the right to withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of past processing.
  • Right to lodge a complaint. The right to file a complaint with a competent supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.

To exercise any of these rights, write to support@newline.bet from the email address registered to your Account. We may need to verify your identity before responding, in particular to prevent unauthorised access to your data.

11. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The platform uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, device identifiers, web beacons) to operate the website and apps, remember your preferences, measure usage and improve the experience. Cookies fall into the following broad categories:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for core functionality such as login sessions, the cashier and bet placement. These cannot be disabled.
  • Functional cookies — remember your language, currency display, time zone and similar preferences.
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand how the platform is used in aggregate, identify performance issues and inform improvements.
  • Marketing cookies — measure the effectiveness of campaigns and personalise promotions, where you have given consent.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent the platform from working correctly. Mobile apps use device identifiers and similar mechanisms instead of browser cookies for the same purposes.

12. Dispute Resolution

If you believe that the Operator has not handled your personal data in accordance with this policy or applicable law, please contact us first at support@newline.bet so that we can attempt to resolve the issue directly. The Operator will acknowledge a complaint within 1 working day and provide a substantive response within 30 calendar days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate the matter to a competent data-protection supervisory authority in your jurisdiction. This right exists independently of any contractual dispute-resolution mechanism in the Terms & Conditions.
